a Moment of Recovery

Just a note here. In the middle of a no-climbing break, still training, just haven't been out in a week or so. Lots going on.

The new look, its been a year now and I've posted over 100 photos. (really!) dig through the archive and wonder where the year went, and wonder how I still feel I didn't climb enough.

I will be climbing in Valdez, Alaska the last week of February / first week of March. They say if you can climb well in Cody you can climb well anywhere. Time to put that to the test. Wait, I could be climbing better..........

It's all Nice on Ice

The past three weeks I've had the pleasure to take out a good slew of climbers to a couple of my local haunts. Put some miles on the car, climbed a lot of different types of ice, and watched Anya pull her lead climbing to a new level. Now that I'm back to climbing on my own schedule I don't know what's next, but it should be good.

Hellroaring Falls

Anya starting up the melting icebox that is known as Hellroaring falls. This is what an icefall looks like when the last two weeks have been in the 40's.

Silver Falls on the New Year

New Years Day Sheldon and I went out for my yearly climb of Silver Falls south of Red Lodge. He's as excited as he looks in this photo.
